Canon XL1s MiniDV

Get the look: 1990 - 2010

The Canon XL1s MiniDV Camera was one of the last standard definition cameras introduced to the prosumer market before the advent of high definition, making it ideal for recreating the miniDV look of the 1990’s through 2015. The camera offers advanced manual controls and has been modified to use a Gold Mount Battery plate. Rather than recording to a MiniDV tape, this Canon XL1s has been upgraded to record both its video and audio signals digitally to SD card, easily aligning with any modern post production workflow.

The Canon XL1s MiniDV Camera includes two interchangeable zooms, 16x (5.5-88 mm) f1.6 and 3x (3.4-10mm) f1.6 and offers +6dB, +12dB, +18dB, and +30dB gain for added sensitivity and video grain.
